In an effort to keep landfills from overflowing, we will recycle as many items as we can. We gladly will accept your recyclables.
Aluminum cans are always accepted. The items we most need are coffee grounds and egg shells. The coffee grounds are used in
our organic compost. The egg shells are crushed for our chickens to consume (The hens need calcium in order to make new eggs,
the old shells are perfect). Please provide these items in separate containers.
Also, we will take your old egg cartons. Once our new hens are laying, we will be selling eggs to members and at the farmers
market. Reusing the egg cartons is one more way to keep those landfills from overflowing.
As the year progresses, grass clippings and/or leaves would be greatly appreciated.
